Covington, September 2020: The Covington Tipton County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the booking of American speaker Mo Collins.
The pandemic, economic shifts and rural workforce shortages have created unprecedented challenges -and new opportunity- for businesses in Tennessee
Join us on Friday, September 18th at 10:00am for an online presentation from popular American speaker Mo Collins. The economy and communities of Tennessee are in the midst of fundamental and profound economic change. Collins will share emerging economic trends impacting workforce, communities and our business operations in a timely 90 minute, all online presentation.
According to Covington-Tipton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lauren Fletcher, “This is an online session that you won’t want to miss! I’ve personally attended a session taught by Mo, that the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce sponsored earlier this year. Mo Collins offers a forward-thinking perspective and rich insight into rural economic trends, --very relevant information for what we are currently witnessing.”
Mo Collins is a North American speaker and trainer supporting community leaders as they solve tough economic challenges in the new economy. Mo combines data and economics with thoughtful insight around the topics of workforce and automation, business and rural ecosystems. She is a frequent speaker for University of Tennessee economic development courses and regularly trains community leaders throughout the state in supporting rural economic development.  Collins spoke most recently at the February Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Winter Conference in Nashville.
“While the pandemic has precluded in person presentations among business professionals in Tennessee, I am pleased to present important trends and opportunities online in September,” noted Collins.  “These are difficult times, but there are many opportunities and bright spots ahead for Tennessee.”
Registration for this session is FREE to all Members of the Covington-Tipton County Chamber of Commerce.
All others, are welcome to attend for $25 and should email lauren@covington-tiptoncochamber for registration details.
